lyrics

Soothing sounds and old worn towns, fill the spaces in my head. A hint of laughter, deciding factor, I never want to go back to bed. I'd stay up late to plan my day, my brothers and sisters would listen. We'd wake up early, we'd rush and hurry, to hear our family in the kitchen.

They don't tell you in school, that there's a life that's worth living. Miles away in a foreign state, just waiting for you to visit. I swear i'm not leaving.

Skyscrapers, bags, and papers, waiting for the city to be heard. Spent a day of crying and lying, went to the mountain tops to watch birds. Family call home, laughs and pay phones. A large cattle farm off the highway. Feeling great and rid of hate, we got back to our house where I'll just stay.
